Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Tipico Group Game Ltd handles personal information from visitors to tryweb4you.com, including Australian visitors, and how to contact our Privacy Officer.

Who is responsible

Tipico Group Game Ltd is the controller of personal information processed through Tipico Group Game at tryweb4you.com. Organisation address: Tipico Tower, Office 3-318, 1 Vjal Portomaso, St. Julian's, STJ 4011, Malta. Privacy Officer: Ida Hodges. Contact: idahodges479@tryweb4you.com.

Data we collect

Wild West can be played without an account. The age confirmation records a choice, not a date of birth or identity document.

  • Optional local profile: when you sign up, this browser stores your username, a random salt and a salted hash of your password in local storage. It also stores the username identifying the current local sign-in session. The password itself is not stored. Profile details stay in this browser and are not sent to our servers or synchronised across devices.
  • Enquiries: When you contact us, we receive the information you provide. The Contact form collects your name, email address, subject and message. The Game Development form collects your name, email address, project type and project description, together with optional company, platform, budget and timeline details. Both forms include your privacy confirmation. We also receive messages you send by email.
  • Technical information: Technical information used to operate and protect the website includes IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, request times and error information recorded in server logs. Please do not include passwords, payment card details or sensitive personal information in an enquiry.

How we use your data

We use information to:

  • check optional profile sign-in details locally and display your username;
  • respond to your message and discuss the project or issue you raised;
  • deliver the website, apply your age-access choice, investigate faults and prevent abuse;
  • meet legal obligations or handle legal claims where necessary.

We do not sell personal information or use enquiry details to enrol you in marketing messages. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means.

Applicable law and legal bases

As a controller established in Malta, we process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and applicable Maltese data protection law. We also respect requirements of the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to our activities.

We rely on our legitimate interests in answering general enquiries and operating a secure website. We process project enquiries to take steps you request before entering a contract. Optional profile information is used locally to provide the sign-in function you request. We rely on legal obligations where processing is required by law. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we need a reply address and enough detail to respond.

Sharing and overseas processing

We use hosting and email service providers to operate the website and receive and respond to messages. Access is limited to people and providers who need the information for those purposes. We disclose information to authorities when required by law.

Both website forms send enquiries to idahodges479@tryweb4you.com. This is also the address for direct privacy enquiries. Our company is based in Malta, so information sent by Australian visitors is handled outside Australia.

Transfers to recipients outside the European Economic Area must meet applicable data protection requirements. You can contact our Privacy Officer for information about recipients, processing locations and the safeguards applicable to your information.

Retention

Enquiry and email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting project. It is normally deleted or anonymised within 24 months of the last contact. Information may be kept longer when necessary for an active project, legal obligations or a specific legal claim. Security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to operate the website, investigate incidents and meet applicable obligations. The local profile remains in your browser until you clear this website's local storage. Logging out removes the local session, not the profile. Browser storage periods and controls are set out in our Cookie Policy.

Cookies and storage

We use a first-party cookie to remember your age-access choice. An adult confirmation lasts up to 30 days; an under-18 choice lasts up to 24 hours. Optional profile details are stored locally in tgg-accounts, and the current local sign-in identifier is stored in tgg-session. Wild West files may also be stored in the browser cache. See our Cookie Policy for storage names, purposes and controls.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may request:

  • access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information;
  • restriction of processing;
  • a copy of your data in a portable format where applicable;
  • an objection to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdrawal of consent for processing that relies on it.

Contact Ida Hodges at idahodges479@tryweb4you.com to make a request.

We may ask for information proportionate to the request to confirm your identity. We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful limitation or extension.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted connections and restricted access to enquiry data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care.

Children

Wild West is for adults aged 18 or older. Website information and contact details remain accessible before age confirmation. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact idahodges479@tryweb4you.com so we can investigate and remove information that should not be retained.

Complaints

Please contact Ida Hodges at idahodges479@tryweb4you.com about privacy concerns. You may also complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta. Australian visitors may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner about matters within its jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We will publish changes to this policy on this page. Material changes in the way we handle personal information will be explained before they take effect where required by law.
